Job Summary:
Amity University Noida is seeking a dynamic and student-oriented University Admission Counsellor to guide prospective students through the university/college admission process. The role involves counselling, application support, lead management, and ensuring smooth onboarding for enrolled students. The counsellor will represent the institution and help students make informed academic and career decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counselling & Guidance
- Handle incoming leads and conduct counselling sessions via calls.
- Understand student profiles, interests, academic background, and recommend suitable programs/courses.
- Provide accurate information about university courses, eligibility, fee structure, scholarships, campus life, and career opportunities.
Admissions Support & Conversion
- Assist students in end-to-end admission process application form filling, documentation.
- Follow up with leads regularly and maintain high engagement
- Maintain CRM/lead management trackers and ensure timely updates.
Relationship Management
- Build rapport with students and parents, addressing queries promptly.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive, patient, and student-centric approach.
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
- Good command over spoken & written English/Hindi.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- 13 years of experience (4+ yrs for Sr. Academic Counsellor) in counselling / admissions / inside sales / education industry preferred (Freshers with good communication skills can also apply).
Budget:
- INR 30 to 40k for academic Counsellors,
- Upto INR 50k for Sr. Academic Counsellors.
