Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Admission Counsellor to manage the student admissions process, build strong relationships with prospective families, and promote the school's programs and values. The Admission Counsellor will serve as the first point of contact for prospective parents and students, providing guidance, information, and support throughout the admission journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from prospective parents and students regarding admission procedures, programs, and school policies.
- Conduct campus tours, information sessions, and one-on-one meetings with prospective families.
- Guide parents and students through the application, enrollment, and admission process.
- Assist in the collection and verification of admission documents, forms, and records.
- Collaborate with the school leadership and academic team to assess student eligibility and placement.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective students, follow-ups, and admissions data.
- Promote the school's programs, achievements, and values through communication, events, and outreach activities.
- Organize and participate in admission-related events, workshops, and open houses.
- Provide timely updates to management on inquiries, application status, and admission trends.
- Ensure a smooth and positive experience for prospective families from first contact to enrollment.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.
- Additional certifications in counseling, marketing, or customer relationship management are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 25 years of experience in admissions, counseling, sales, or customer service.
- Experience in schools, educational institutions, or child-focused services is preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with parents and students.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
- Marketing, outreach, or promotional skills are an advantage.
