Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admissions & Reception Officer based in Jubilee Hills , Hyderabad .

The Admissions and Reception Officer is the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors. This role manages the student admission process and ensures smooth front desk operations, delivering a welcoming and professional experience.

Admissions Responsibilities

  • Handle admission inquiries (walk-ins, phone calls, emails, online forms)
  • Guide parents through the admission process and requirements
  • Schedule campus visits, meetings, and interaction sessions
  • Coordinate admission tests/interviews (if applicable)
  • Collect and verify required documents (TC, birth certificate, report cards, etc.)
  • Maintain and update admission records in registers or ERP systems
  • Follow up with prospective parents regarding admission status

•Prepare and maintain admission reports and data

Reception / Front Desk Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist parents, students, and visitors professionally
  • Answer and route incoming calls to the concerned staff
  • Handle general inquiries about school timings, procedures, and events
  • Maintain visitor records and front desk logs
  • Manage emails, couriers, and basic communication

Parent Interaction

  • Act as the first point of contact for parents
  • Address queries related to admissions and general school information
  • Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional approach

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain student records (physical and digital)
  • Assist in organizing admission-related activities and school events
  • Support administrative tasks as required
  • Ensure confidentiality of student and school information

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties to handle calls and assist visitors effectively
  • Strong Clerical Skills, including record management, scheduling, and maintaining organized documentation
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, including parents, students, and staff
  • Customer Service skills to ensure a welcoming and supportive experience for all visitors and inquiries
  • Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with school operations and admissions processes is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and any relevant database software
  • Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience preferred
