Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all admission-related inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, website leads) promptly and professionally.
- Counsel prospective parents and students, highlighting the school's curriculum, teaching methodology, achievements, infrastructure, and unique offerings.
- Conduct campus tours, orientations, and presentations to provide an engaging and informative experience for visitors.
- Guide parents through the admission process, from initial inquiry to final enrollment, ensuring clarity and smooth documentation.
- Maintain and update the admission database in the ERP, ensuring accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Coordinate with academic, transport, and accounts departments for smooth onboarding of new students.
- Manage communication with parents about admission status, deadlines, and required documentation.
- Support the planning and execution of open houses, admission events, and promotional activities.
- Prepare regular reports on inquiry-to-admission conversion rates and provide insights for improving processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant and parent data at all times.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluency required).
- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills; ability to build trust and rapport with parents.
- Professional presentation and confidence in representing the school.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with school ERP/CRM software.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with patience and empathy.
- Result-oriented approach with strong follow-up skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree (preferably in Education, Management, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in school admissions, counseling, or customer-facing roles.
- Prior experience in reputed schools or educational institutions preferred.
