Job Description

The Intern is expected to be a contributor to the TCIS back-office capacity to support various administrative activities and programs in India as well as to coordinate with multiple departments in the Asia Pacific Office (APO) and external vendors/agencies in the country. He/she will report to and work with the Manager Organizational Performance - TCIS and will provide administrative and logistical support for the staff and consultants in this department and other departments as assigned.

Scope of work: The intern will perform the following activities:

Administrative Duties

  • Support the administrative functions of the TCIS department staff and contractors in Chennai including meetings, travel booking arrangements for the employees and staff, visa applications and routine support.
  • Coordinate logistics and provide support to meetings for the department as well as conferences, workshops and training sessions organized by members of the department.
  • Ensure the appropriate office supply inventory and take the lead in procurement of goods and services for the department.
  • Provide support in receiving, reviewing and processing invoices from contractor/travel agents/partners/clients etc. * Coordinate with finance and HR departments in Manila for the payment for consultants.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Assist in completion of special projects as required.

Timeframe and location

The assignment will take place over 06 months (Apr 2026 to Sep-Oct 2026). The intern is expected to be in Chennai, India. Office is based out of IITM Research Park, Taramani. Office Timings 10 am-4 pm, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications And Experience

Pursuing or recently completed undergraduate or any degree, experience in admin/back end operations preferred.

A strong ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet.

Proficient in English - written and spoken, Tamil-Spoken.

Willingness to travel - limited.
