Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end IT procurement process for hardware, software, and peripherals. Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. You will ensure timely and cost-effective acquisitions while adhering to service level agreements and company policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, resolve procurement issues, and maintain accurate documentation. Your technical skills will be utilized to streamline processes and provide efficient support to the GP Service Desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT products and services.
- Adhere to GP IT Service Desk Service Level Agreements
- Be aware of supplier/vendor/third party SLAs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different time zones to understand and fulfil their IT procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements as part of any procurement
- Resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Be able to handle any upset requesters, in a polite and professional manner
- Keep all Procurement related documentation updated as and when needed.
- Use your technical skills to save time on the GP Service desk (EG: when a request comes to IT procurement and there may be a need for Service Desk to troubleshoot, but you think that could waste time due to the issue presented)
- Rightsizing software licensing with end users

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their IT procurement needs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and legal requirements for all procurements.
- Resolve procurement-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Keep procurement documentation updated and organized.
- Utilize technical skills to provide efficient support and troubleshooting.
- Assist in rightsizing software licensing with end-users.
