You will be responsisble for:
- Design and develop Data Pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Migrate existing SSIS packages into Azure Data Factory
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency
- Train other team members on the use if Azure Data Factory
- Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process
- Builds data transformations with SSIS including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another
- Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data
- Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, ) and database security
- Experience working with SSIS packages
- Proficient with ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS
- Experience in using DevOps Repository check in and check out process for the technical changes
- Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and ODS/Data Warehouse destinations
- Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments
- Support system and acceptance testing including the development or refinement of test plans
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5years software development experience and knowledge of SDLC methodology
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer or business-related field (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience designing, creating, customizing, and configuring innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements and streamline/automate business processes. Candidate should be able to speak to examples in detail during an interview.
- Experience working with Relational Data Modeling solutions and related industry best practices.
- Strong SQL skills building complex queries, tuning and optimizing
- Read, write, and speak English fluently and communicate effectively.
- Experience developing within Microsoft Visual Studio and utilizing Git for source control.
