Role Overview
We're hiring a full-time Assistant Director / Editor to join our Bengaluru team. This role is great for someone early in their career who wants to grow across editing, direction, and pre-production.
Responsibilities
- Support pre-production tasks such as shot breakdowns, planning, and scheduling
- Coordinate with directors, cinematographers, and crew during shoots
- Maintain smooth communication and workflow on set
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos
- Assist across production and post-production activities
- Bring creativity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
Qualifications
- Approximately 6 months to 1 year of experience in editing and/or production
- Basicintermediate proficiency in Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Understanding of scripting, shot lists, and set coordination
- Strong visual storytelling and composition skills
- Good communication and teamwork
- Ability to multitask and work within timelines
- Bonus: Knowledge of sound design, VFX, or color grading
- Background in film/media is an advantage, not mandatory
- Role is on-site in Bengaluru
