Role - Actuarial Specialist Rate Filing, Pricing - P&C General Insurance
Experience range - 4-7yrs
Location - Hybrid 2 days WFO

Work Timings - 12-9PM IST
Role Overview:
Doing independent research, analyze, and present data as assigned
Expected to work in close collaboration with the EXL team and clients on general insurance actuarial projects for US markets
Stakeholder, Team, and Project Management Team of actuarial professionals
Critically examine and deep dive into actuarial projects
Delivery Excellence for actuarial team Deep dive into deliverables, QC, Review and guide team on their day to day tasks and projects
Develop roadmap, plan for actuarial projects and ensure quality deliverables
Prepare detailed documentation for pricing, rate indication, rate revision, rate review, valuation reports and preparing presentations
Assist in learning and development of new team members Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Complete understanding of the current state of affairs and problem statement
Interacting with clients on regular basis, understanding their requirements and transforming that into business framework and providing actuarial solutions for Pricing Non Life
Experience in data extraction and data manipulation in Excel, R, Python, SAS, Emblem/RADAR, ResQ
Experience in data management and actuarial process improvements
In-depth data analysis like identifying major trends, univariate and multi-variate analysis
Personal and commercial lines general insurance Pricing Non Life for US/UK/APAC Insurance markets
Knowledge of General Insurance domain and P&C actuarial concepts is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences
Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 5-9 CT actuarial exams.
4-7 years experience, with good understanding of P&C actuarial concepts Core Pricing Rate Experience is preferred
Experience in US/UK/APAC General insurance market is preferable
Strong ability to learn technical and business knowledge
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
