Actuarial Intern

Duties:

Support the Actuarial Analytics & Insights, Protection team in reporting, process improvement, and automation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Automating recurring tasks using programming
• Supporting initiatives to improve efficiency, processes, and documentation
• Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and programming
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive attitude toward self-learning and independent problem-solving
• Good understanding of actuarial valuation principles, i.e. having completed actuarial life contingency course
• Detail oriented with the ability to work to timelines

Preferred

• A minimum 3-month internship period with full-time or part-time availability for 2-3 days per week
