About the Role

We are hiring Accounts Trainees UK Accounting to join our Chennai office on a fixed-term contract of 1824 months. This role is suited to graduates or early-career professionals seeking hands-on exposure to UK accounting and bookkeeping.

You will work closely with experienced UK accountants and receive structured, on-the-job training on UK accounting practices, tools, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping for UK clients
• Support bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate accounting records under supervision
• Assist with basic journal entries and monthly reporting
• Work on cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
• Follow UK accounting standards and internal processes
• Coordinate with internal teams and UK counterparts
• Maintain organised digital records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good written and spoken English
• Willingness to work from office and learn UK accounting practices
• CA Inter / ACCA / CPA (pursuing or planned) is an advantage
• Prior internship or trainee experience is helpful but not mandatory

PostProgramme Progression

Subject to performance, business requirements, and role availability, trainees completing the programme may be considered for:

• Extension of the fixed-term contract (up to 24 months)
• Confirmation into a permanent role within Growth Accountants India
• Progression to Assistant Accountant / Junior Accountant UK Accounting
• Increased responsibility, including independent handling of UK client work
