Role Overview
Are you ready for your next adventure in the accounting space Zywave is seeking a customer-focused Accounts Receivable Support Specialist to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a positive customer experience by managing collections, resolving invoice disputes, and supporting inbound customer inquiries. This position requires a proactive and organized professional who is passionate about delivering excellent service and driving successful outcomes in accounts receivable management.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact on the Billing phone lineanswering customer questions, routing inquiries, and providing documentation such as invoices or W9s
- Manage incoming customer requests via email, voicemail, or mail and accurately assign them in the Salesforce Billing system
- Process customer payments over the phone and through third-party billing services
- Manage a portfolio of Velocity customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and answer account-related queries
- Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Implementation to resolve customer issues
- Follow up on automated collection reminders and escalate accounts for Final Notice when necessary
- Assist customers with non-renewal requests and initiate payment plans as needed
- Maintain clear, concise, and actionable documentation of all communications and account activities
- Meet individual and team collections goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in collections and/or customer service
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive, customer-first mindset and ability to multitask effectively
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work mid-shift hours (2 PM 11 PM IST)
