Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Tax Compliance:

  • Manage the preparation and timely filing of all tax returns including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.

System & Process Development:

  • Develop and implement robust financial systems and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and other internal stakeholders to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to aid strategic planning and decision-making.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations supporting the company's strategic objectives.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all financial processes and systems comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Team Management:

  • Manage the accounting team's performance and development through coaching, feedback, and training initiatives.
