Job Summary:

The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations of the property, ensuring accurate accounting, budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting while supporting business decisions and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund management
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and customer billing
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Control costs and analyse variances against budget
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and audits
  • Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable tax filings
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
  • Maintain financial controls and ensure adherence to company policies
  • Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management
  • Monitor revenue reconciliation (rooms, F&B, banquets, etc.)
  • Oversee payroll coordination and expense management
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
  • Support management in financial decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce / finance / accounting
  • CA / MBA Finance (preferred but not mandatory)
  • 5–10 years of experience in accounting (hospitality preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
