Account Manager

Job Description & Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the full set of accounts and financial operations for multiple companies under the group. The role includes managing daily accounting functions, financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, compliance, and coordination with auditors, tax agents, banks, and management.

(Group of Companies)Process payments to suppliers, related companies, banks, IRAS, and other regulatory authorities in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management

. Handle full set of accounts for multiple companies.

. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.

. Monitor company cash flow and financial position.

. Manage budgeting and forecasting for group companies.

. Ensure proper accounting entries and documentation.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

. Manage supplier payments and payment schedules.

. Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents.

. Reconcile customer and supplier statements.

3. Bank & Cash Management

. Perform bank reconciliations for all company accounts.

. Monitor daily bank balances and transactions.

. Coordinate with banks regarding financing, loans, and facilities.

. Maintain proper petty cash and expense controls.

4. GST & Tax Compliance (Singapore)

. Prepare and submit GST reports.

. Coordinate with tax agents for corporate tax filing.

. Ensure compliance with IRAS and ACRA regulations.

. Maintain proper accounting records for audit purposes.

5. Audit & Compliance

. Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, and tax agents.

. Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audit.

. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and SOPs.

6. Payroll & HR Support

. Review payroll, CPF contribution, and staff claims.

. Ensure timely salary processing and statutory submissions.

. Support HR on employee financial matters when required.

7. Group Reporting

. Consolidate financial reports for management review.

. Monitor financial performance across multiple companies.

. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.

. Prepare management reports and KPI analysis.

8. Team Management

. Supervise account executives and account assistants.

. Assign daily accounting tasks and monitor deadlines.

. Train and guide junior accounting staff.

. Improve accounting procedures and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

. Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience Singapore.

. Experience handling multiple companies or group accounts.

. Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and GST.

. Familiar with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks.

. Strong leadership and communication skills.

. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

Finance Director / Managing Director / Group CFO

. Handle multiple company accounts within the group.

. Fast-paced environment with strong deadline management.

. Coordination with different departments and external parties.
