Job Summary:
The Accounts Head will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, statutory compliance, and strategic financial planning for the organization. This role involves leading a multi-centre accounts team, ensuring strong internal controls, and supporting decision-making through timely and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including monthly closing, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in MIS reporting for management review.
- Drive budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, ROC, payroll regulations, and other statutory obligations.
- Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implement the same across centres.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Implement and monitor strong internal financial controls across the organization.
- Streamline processes and enhance financial discipline across all business centres.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and management for smooth financial operations.
- Provide financial insights and support for business decisions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team across multiple locations.
- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability.
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience
- 8-15 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Preferably from multisite healthcare, retail, or service industry environments.
- Proven experience in leading finance teams and handling multi-centre operations.
Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance frameworks.
