The Mission
You are the financial and operational backbone of our Devanahalli headquarters. Your job is to keep our daily accounts perfect, assist with audits, manage the office operations, and ensure our startup stays fully compliant so the rest of the team can focus on the mission.
Location: Full-time, OnsiteDevanahalli, Bengaluru (15 mins from Bangalore Airport)
1. Success in 90 Days
- Perfect Books & Reconciliations: Every single rupee spent or received is recorded accurately, and our software matches our bank statements perfectly.
- Audit Ready: You have successfully prepared the data for at least one smooth quarterly audit.
- Zero Cash Chaos: The petty cash is perfectly balanced every week, with clear receipts for every single expense.
2. What You Will Do
- Day-to-Day Accounts: You handle the daily bookkeeping. You log invoices, process vendor and farmer payments accurately, and ensure our financial records are 100% up to date.
- Reconciliations (Bank & Gateways): You perform monthly bank reconciliations. You also track our payment gateways (like Razorpay or Shopify) to ensure every online customer payment successfully lands in our bank account without any missing funds.
- Tax & Compliance Prep: You ensure all GST and TDS data is accurately recorded and shared with our CA on time. You also generate E-way bills for our larger physical shipments.
- Payroll & Attendance: You track the Devanahalli team's attendance, calculate leaves, and process the monthly payroll so everyone gets paid accurately and exactly on time.
- Audits & Year-End: You prepare the data for our year-end accounts and handle the auditors during our quarterly audits, ensuring they have everything they need to clear us quickly.
- Stock Reviews: You don't just look at screens. From time to time, you step into the warehouse to do physical stock checks, making sure the inventory on the computer matches reality.
- Manage Petty Cash: You handle the daily cash requirements for the warehouse and the team, ensuring no money leaves without a proper receipt.
- HQ Administration: You handle the everyday admin of the Devanahalli office. Whether it's paying the electricity bill, ordering supplies, or taking care of random administrative tasks that pop up, you get it sorted.
3. Who You Are
- The Experience: You have 2 to 3 years of solid experience in accounting, compliance (GST/TDS), and office administration. You are very comfortable using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Highly Trustworthy: You are handling cash, payroll, and company accounts, so absolute honesty and integrity are your most important qualities.
- Detail-Obsessed: You don't let invoices slip through the cracks, and you notice if a bill, a tax filing, or a cash count is off by even one rupee.
