Job Description Finance Executive

Position: Finance Executive

Qualification: B.Com, M.com

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Work Location: Coimbatore

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive with strong experience in Statutory Compliance, Finance Operations, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate should possess solid accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in managing books of accounts, and strong understanding of statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Finance Operations

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial record maintenance.

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Statutory Compliance

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and other applicable regulations.

Prepare and support filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and statutory payments.

Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

3. Zoho Books & QuickBooks Management

Maintain financial records and transactions in Zoho Books and QuickBooks.

Generate financial reports, MIS, and dashboards from these platforms.

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts using the software tools.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Manage vendor invoices, payment cycles, and vendor reconciliations.

Monitor customer invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.

Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.

5. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Assist in cost control and financial data analysis for decision making.

6. Skills & Competencies Required:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.

Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and QuickBooks (Mandatory).

Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Com with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience working in IT/Services/Start-up environment.
