AR & Finance Support

We're looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant with 3-5 years of experience to own our Accounts Receivable function and support the Management Accountant across month-end, reporting, and financial operations.

You'll be the first point of contact for the accounts mailbox and help keep our ledgers clean, accurate, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise accurate sales invoices on schedule
  • Reconcile sales trackers with invoices; resolve variances
  • Chase outstanding debtors with a polite, consistent cadence

Cash & Ledgers

  • Daily bank reconciliations in Xero
  • Post journals (accruals, prepayments, reclasses)

Reporting & Month-End

  • Update internal finance reports
  • Support month-end close (cut-offs, reconciliations, schedules)
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

Admin & Controls

  • Manage the accounts mailbox (triage, respond, file)
  • Support payment runs and prepares remittances
  • Maintain organised, audit-ready digital finance records

Must-Haves

  • Strong Xero experience
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivots)
  • Background in AR/credit control and bookkeeping
  • High attention to detail + ownership mindset
  • Clear and professional communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in product/e-commerce
  • Basic knowledge of VAT
  • Experience reconciling Shopify, Amazon & TikTok channels
