Role Description

We are seeking an Accounts and Finance Associate for a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The associate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial reporting tasks, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Additional duties may include handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial audits.

We are looking for an Accounts & Finance Associate to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records for Partsbaba. The role involves handling bookkeeping, GST compliance, reconciliations, and working closely with operations and ERP teams to maintain financial accuracy as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaincomplete books of accountsand ensure accurate recording of day-to-day financial transactions
  • Handleaccounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and follow-ups
  • Performbank, vendor, and ledger reconciliationson a regular basis
  • Prepare and reviewmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • ManageGST-related work, including data preparation, returns support, and reconciliation
  • Ensure properdocumentation and compliancewith accounting standards and internal controls
  • Work extensively onZoho Booksfor accounting, reporting, and process automation
  • Assist inmonth-end and year-end closingactivities
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (CA, auditors) as required
  • Identify and support improvements inaccounting processes and automation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 13 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience withZoho Books(mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in maintaining books of accounts and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
  • Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
