Accounting & Taxation Internship in Virar, Vashi, Mira Bhayandar, Mumbai, Mumbai, Thane

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented accounts & tax intern for a 6-month internship under a chartered accountant. The candidate will gain practical exposure in accounting, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
• Prepare and file income tax returns (ITR)
• Calculate TDS, file returns, and perform reconciliations
• Maintain bookkeeping records and pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP
• Perform bank reconciliations and scrutinize ledgers
• Support statutory and internal audit processes
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheet and profit & loss
• Reconcile GST 2B with books of accounts
• Draft responses to income tax and GST notices
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance records are updated
