Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end Intercompany (IC) cycle management, including invoice processing to disbursement and month-end close process of accruals & reconciliations.
  • Identify non-standard processes and drive standardization by partnering with the Transformation & Operations team.
  • Act as an effective team player to manage IC data analytics across the global IC process.
  • Manage data insights for IC practices, reporting, and drive a one-standard approach.
  • Partner to enable transformation opportunities through data analysis.
  • Build a one-stop shop for IC data warehouse and reporting functionality on a global scale.
  • Enable visibility of non-compliances to enhance compliance and support decision-making.
  • Review and refine key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Measure performance using reports against defined metrics and drive decisions and results.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and contribute to process re-engineering and automation initiatives.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including Controllership and Operations teams.
  • Reduce exceptions through root cause analysis and partner in implementing solutions.

Competencies:

  • Education and Certifications:
  • MBA in Finance and Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Required Experiences:
  • 7+ years of overall finance experience.
  • Must have worked in the finance domain for at least 7+ years.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Critical Knowledge and Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with SAP GL, AR & AP, and data analytics tools.
  • Preferable work experience with consolidation platforms such as Hyperion Reporting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Intercompany billing concepts, processes, and best practices.
  • Good understanding of US GAAP and/or other GAAPs.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) concepts, processes, best practices, value addition initiatives, and banking domain expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferable:
  • Exposure to full close processes for a multinational group.
  • Proactive, with the ability to use own initiative and partner in creating innovative solutions.
  • Audit experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work shifts and exposure to global customers.
