What will your job look like:
- The primary purpose of this role is to analyze the financial impact on Revenue due to termination of billing lines and make changes to the revenue schedules accordingly
- Analyze the contract/lines termination information.
- Understand the financial impact of termination on Revenue recognition of the contract.
- Shutting down relevant revenue lines in system.
- Provide reports to management and answers inquiries as necessary
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Interact with various stakeholders to take the on hold cases to closure
- Coordinate and follow through with the month-end closing schedule
An Ideal Candidate will have:
- 2-4 years of experience in Invoicing/Revenue function
- Exposure to internal controls and SOX environment in MNC
- Experience with Oracle R12
- Sound knowledge of MS-Office
- Strong Analytical skills
- Good Communication skills
- Should be familiar with Ratable Revenue Recognition
- Understanding of Order to cash Cycle
- Oracle R12 Experience Service Contracts/PA/OM modules
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of revenue recognition will be an added advantage.
