Accounting Instructor (AI Training)
About The Role
We're looking for experienced accounting instructors to help shape the next generation of AI. Your deep knowledge of accounting principles will directly influence how AI systems understand, explain, and reason through financial concepts — making a real impact on how millions of people interact with AI-powered tools.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role powered by Alignerr (by Labelbox), one of the leading platforms for AI training and evaluation.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review and evaluate accounting questions, explanations, and worked examples used in AI training datasets
- Assess the accuracy of concepts spanning financial statements, bookkeeping, internal controls, and managerial accounting
- Identify errors, edge cases, and misleading or ambiguous explanations
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the precision and educational quality of AI-generated content
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule to meet project milestones
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
- Strong command of both financial and managerial accounting principles
- Able to critically evaluate written quantitative reasoning and rule-based logic
- Detail-oriented and comfortable reviewing structured content at scale
- Self-motivated and reliable in an asynchronous remote environment
Nice to Have
- CPA designation or a Master's degree in Accounting
- Hands-on experience in auditing, financial analysis, or applied accounting practice
- Prior exposure to AI training, data annotation, or model evaluation workflows
