About the Role
We're building AI systems that operate within real enterprise environments. As an Accounting & Finance Domain Expert Consultant, you'll help us model authentic finance workflows, map out how teams use ERP and accounting tools in practice, and design realistic scenarios grounded in how enterprise finance functions actually operate.
What You'll Do
- Map out end-to-end enterprise finance workflows: month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, financial reporting, budgeting, audit prep
- Model how finance teams interact with tools like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel in real working environments
- Define realistic multi-step task sequences that reflect actual enterprise accounting operations
- Advise on edge cases, compliance nuances, and approval chains that distinguish real workflows from simplified descriptions
- Review AI-generated outputs for realism and flag anything that wouldn't pass in a real finance team
- Help define evaluation criteria for what correct and complete looks like in finance task execution
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A within a mid-size or enterprise organization
- Deep working knowledge of at least one major ERP or accounting platform (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
- Solid understanding of GAAP or IFRS, close processes, and financial reporting standards
- Ability to articulate the unwritten rules approval hierarchies, workarounds, exception handling, and how things actually get done vs. how the SOP says they should
- Excellent written English
Nice to Have
- CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Exposure to audit, tax, treasury, or intercompany accounting
- Experience across multiple industries or ERP migrations
