Job Title: Accounting Analyst

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounting Analyst to support our Workday implementation. This role will focus on validating, cleansing, reconciling, and uploading financial data into Workday to ensure accuracy during system migration and go-live. The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, ERP experience, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Implementation Support
- Review, validate, and reconcile financial data prior to migration into Workday
- Prepare and upload data templates (e.g., GL balances, suppliers, customers, assets, projects, etc.)
- Perform data cleansing and ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Support testing cycles (UAT, parallel runs, data validation)
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies
- Maintain documentation of data mapping and reconciliation processes
Accounting & Financial Support
- Reconcile general ledger balances and sub-ledgers
- Assist with chart of accounts validation and mapping
- Support month-end close activities during implementation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, IT, and Workday implementation consultants
- Coordinate with global teams across time zones
- Provide status updates on data readiness and issues
Required Qualifications- 36 years of accounting or financial systems experience
- Strong understanding of:
- General Ledger
- Journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Experience working with ERP systems (Workday preferred; SAP/Oracle/NetSuite acceptable)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Workday Financials experience
- Experience in system implementation or data migration projects
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes
- Experience working with US-based companies or global teams
