Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Chennai. The responsibilities of the Accountant include preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Daily tasks include managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, maintaining financial data integrity, and providing financial reports to management. The Accountant plays a key role in managing budgets and financial planning to support organizational goals effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Statements Analysis
- Strong knowledge of Tax Regulations and Compliance
- Experience with Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
