Job Description

Position: Accountant

Experience: 2–3 Years Minimum

Salary: 18000 to 25000 Per Month

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Mahalaxmi, Mumbai

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant with 2–3 years of practical experience in accounting, taxation, GST, and TDS. The candidate should have strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts and be capable of handling accounting activities independently.

Key Responsibility:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle GSTR-1, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and GSTR-3B preparation/working.
Perform GST reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and related working.
Prepare and maintain TDS-related records and documentation.
Ensure accurate recording of purchases, sales, expenses, receipts, and payments.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and management regarding accounts-related matters.
Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and compliance activities.

Required Skills & Qualification:

Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and terminology.
Practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
Hands-on experience with GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, and GSTR-3B.
Good knowledge of TDS calculation and working.
Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, and MS Excel.
Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should be technically sound in accounting, understand GST and TDS practically, be comfortable working on accounting software, and be able to independently manage regular accounting activities from day to day.
