Position: Accountant

Location: Mahalaxmi, Mumbai

Industry: Hospitality

Experience: 1–3 Years

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹28,000 per month

About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accountant to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate must possess strong accounting fundamentals and be proficient in Tally, Zoho Books, and Advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

* Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliation activities.

* Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and related compliance.

* Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.

* Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

* Process vendor payments and monitor outstanding balances.

* Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing activities.

* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

* Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments as required.

* Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.

Required Skills & Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.

* 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

* Strong knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and compliance.

* Clear understanding of accounting principles and basic accounting concepts.

* Professional working experience in:

* Tally

* Zoho Books

* Advanced Microsoft Excel

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile: 

* Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage industry.

* Ability to handle accounting activities independently.

* Good communication and coordination skills.
