Role Description The Chartered Accountant Junior role at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane. This role involves supporting senior finance and consulting professionals with day-to-day accounting, financial analysis, and compliance activities. Typical responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with tax computations and filings, maintaining accurate ledgers, and supporting audits and certification-related financial documentation. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams and clients on financial data requirements, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory norms, and contributing to productivity and cost-control initiatives. The Chartered Accountant Junior is expected to maintain high ethical standards, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), with strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in core accounting functions, including ledger management, reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and working knowledge of audit processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to licensing, certification, and safety-related financial documentation.
- Experience or interest in consulting environments, including exposure to productivity improvement, CSR-related financial tracking, and project-based assignments.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with clients.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured manner.
- Relevant internship or 0–2 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial consulting; experience in safety or compliance-focused organizations is an advantage.
