Accountant

Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in accounting and will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses as required
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations
