Job Title: RTR (Record to Report) Team Lead

Location: Bangalore, India

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced RTR Team Lead to manage and drive end-to-end Record to Report processes. The ideal candidate will have strong team handling experience, hands-on exposure to SAP, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring high-quality financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the RTR function, including General Ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Handle a team of 4–5 direct reports, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within RTR
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as AP, AR, FP&A, and auditors
• Support audits and ensure all documentation is maintained accurately

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4–8 years of experience in RTR/General Ledger, with at least 2+ years in a team lead role
• Strong experience in SAP (mandatory)
• Proven experience managing a team of 4–5 members
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
