Role Description

We are looking for a highly organized and skilled Admin cum Accountant with expertise in Tally Prime to join our team. This dual-role position requires a professional who excels in both administrative tasks and accounting functions, with a strong focus on using Tally Prime for financial management. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day office operations while ensuring accurate and efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Documentation: Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and digital files, including correspondence, reports, and other important documents.
  • Communication: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications. Answer phones, respond to emails, and handle inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Scheduling: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for staff members.
  • Project Coordination: Plan and organize company events, meetings, and training sessions as required.

Accounting Duties:

  • Tally Prime Management: Utilize Tally Prime to manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording expenses, processing invoices, and reconciling bank statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and review financial reports using Tally Prime, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budget Management: Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes, monitoring expenses to ensure they align with budgetary constraints.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Maximum of 1 years of experience in an administrative role with accounting responsibilities. Experience with office management and basic accounting software is required.

Skills:

o Proficiency in Tally Prime for accounting and financial management.

o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

o Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
