- Knowledge of Tally, GST filing, and basic accounting principles
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant in Chennai with 1–3 years of experience. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, handling GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and preparing financial reports to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts using Tally or similar software
- Manage GST returns, TDS, and statutory filings
- Handle bank reconciliation and vendor payments
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial data
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel)
- Strong knowledge of taxation and financial compliance
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- 18,000 to 28,000/month (based on experience and skillset)
