Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records for Aura Plantation's coffee and tea operations, including labor, input costs, production, sales, and maintenance.
• Monitor and report on budgets, expenditures, and profitability across both coffee and tea divisions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable; manage timely payments and invoicing.
• Administer payroll for estate workers and staff, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, etc.). • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both crops.
• File GST, income tax, and other statutory returns in accordance with Indian tax laws.
• Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and government bodies as needed.
• Maintain inventory and asset records for inputs like fertilizers, machinery, and harvested produce.
• Provide cost analysis and financial forecasts to support plantation-level decision making.
• Track and document eligibility for agricultural subsidies, grants, and tea/coffee board incentives. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; preference for candidates with experience in tea or coffee plantations, or other agricultural enterprises.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or equivalents like Xero).
• Solid understanding of Indian tax regulations including GST, TDS, and income tax.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; working knowledge of Kannada preferred.
• Excellent time-management, accuracy, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with plantation workers and management while handling responsibilities independently.
