Accountant

Location: Dahisar, Mumbai

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, based in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, processing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also includes analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting standards, and tax preparation
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial data analysis and budgeting
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
• Proficient in using accounting software and general office applications
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent qualification)
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is a plus
