Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Kanpur. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, analyzing financial reports, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role also includes preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting audits and regulatory filings. Collaboration with team members to support the organization's overall financial health is integral to this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Experience with Tax compliance and regulatory guidelines
• Familiarity with bookkeeping, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
• Expertise in using accounting software and ERP systems
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and data accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; professional certifications like CA or CMA are a plus
• Experience in financial services or consultancy is advantageous but not required
