Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will handle daily financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data, performing reconciliations, managing budgets, processing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting audits. The role also involves collaborating with other teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
- Prior experience in social commerce or data-driven environments is advantageous
