Company Description
Orington & Partners (O&P) is an international advisory firm headquartered in Australia, working across management consulting, investment banking, strategic alliances, and corporate advisory. While our core practice is high-impact strategic work, we selectively support long-standing clients with specialised talent needs where trust, context, and long-term alignment matter. We are currently assisting one of our Australian clients, an outsourced CFO services provider, in hiring a full-time accounting professional to support their ongoing finance operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gurugram/Delhi NCR, supporting an Australian outsourced CFO services firm. You will take ownership of core accounting and reporting activities across multiple client entities, while also reviewing and overseeing work prepared by junior accountants.
The role includes end-to-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, month-end support, and cash flow tracking, along with basic management reporting. A key responsibility is identifying classification issues, inconsistencies, and fundamental accounting errors to ensure clean, reliable financials before client delivery. The role also requires some experience or working knowledge with Australian payroll laws and systems, e.g. superannuation, portable long service leave, etc.
You will work closely with Australian stakeholders, coordinate information across teams, and ensure timely and accurate communication. This role is best suited for someone seeking stability and long-term growth within an outsourced CFO environment.
