Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will oversee financial records, prepare budgets and financial reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining accounts, preparing tax returns, managing payroll, reconciling statements, and analyzing financial data. The role also requires the candidate to communicate and follow up with clients for payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience in financial roles within media, advertising, or creative industries is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and preparing financial reports
• Experience with tax compliance, auditing procedures, and regulatory compliance
• Strong skills in accounting software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors
