NONSTOP is a premier digital solutions provider, specializing in delivering innovative digital transformation services. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our FMCG distribution business (Nonstop Distributors). The role involves handling billing, receivables, payables, inventory accounting, GST compliance, and coordination with sales and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Bookkeeping- Maintain books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
- Record daily transactions accurately in accounting software (Tally / ERP)
- Perform ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
Sales, Billing & Receivables- Prepare and verify sales invoices as per GST norms
- Track distributor, retailer, and channel partner receivables
- Follow up on outstanding payments and prepare ageing reports
- Reconcile sales with delivery challans and returns
Purchase & Payables- Record purchase invoices and verify GST, rates, and quantities
- Maintain vendor accounts and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile supplier statements
Inventory & Stock Accounting- Maintain stock records and reconcile physical stock with books
- Account for shortages, damages, expiries, and returns
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for stock movement
GST & Statutory Compliance- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Handle e-way bills and GST compliance for inter-state movement
- Support audits and respond to GST queries
Coordination & Controls- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and management teams
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Required Skills & Qualifications- B.Com / M.Com
- 23 years of experience in FMCG distribution accounting
- Strong knowledge of GST, inventory accounting, and receivables management
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and ERP systems
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions
Preferred Experience- Experience in FMCG distribution, wholesale, or logistics industry
