The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate posting of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation and records as per accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenses.
- Assist in internal financial controls and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Experience in accounting; experience with Tally or other accounting software preferred.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
