Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Kolkata. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional duties include budgeting, tracking expenses, assisting with audits, and collaborating with other departments to provide accurate financial data.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements
• Skills in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Experience with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of accounting software and tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong sense of accuracy
• A strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Prior experience in a construction or contracting-related industry is a plus
