Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our client, a multinational company specializing in the manufacturing of individual solutions for the Construction Machinery Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive range of accounting duties, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, timely reporting, and compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Journal Entries & General Ledger: Prepare accurate journal entries and complete general ledger operations to maintain precise financial records.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Execute monthly closings and prepare monthly financial statements. Assist with year-end closings efficiently.
- Account Reconciliation & Analysis: Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts. Prepare analyses of accounts as requested to provide financial insights.
- Financial Reporting: Draw up comprehensive monthly financial reports for management review.
- Accounts Administration: Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax computations and returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
- Payroll Administration: Provide assistance with payroll administration.
- Bank Management: Monitor and resolve bank issues, including fee anomalies and check differences. Perform thorough account/bank reconciliations.
- Expense Management: Review and process expense reports accurately.
- Audit Coordination: Assist with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.
- Internal Controls: Assist with implementing and maintaining robust internal financial controls and procedures.
- Profit and Loss Accounts: Handle and look after profit and loss accounts, ensuring their accuracy and integrity.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in preparing journal entries, managing general ledger operations, and conducting month-end closings.
- Expertise in reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare monthly financial reports and provide account analysis.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax computations, and payroll administration.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving bank-related issues.
- Experience with expense report processing and audit coordination.
- Knowledge of implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Ability to handle profit and loss accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
