Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, preparing tax returns, financial analysis and reporting, reconciling accounts, and supporting the preparation of budgets. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting procedures, financial reporting, and preparation of budgets
- Experience with bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in preparing tax returns
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Understanding of Indian financial regulations and standards is a plus
