Accountant

At Klarte Media, we work with brands, creators and campaigns across India. We're growing fast and are looking for someone who can keep the numbers, invoices and payments running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you are someone who enjoys organising things, follows up without being told, loves Excel sheets a little too much, and wants to work closely with founders in a fast-paced agency environment, this role is for you.

This is not a boring, traditional accounting role. You'll be working closely with the founder and operations team, handling creator payments, client invoicing, collections and making sure the backend of the business runs perfectly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining proper records
• Creating and sharing client invoices
• Following up on collections and pending payments
• Handling vendor and creator payments
• Coordinating payroll every month
• Working closely with our CA for GST, TDS and other compliance-related work
• Maintaining payment trackers and account statements
• Doing bank reconciliations and keeping finances updated
• Helping founders with basic finance reports and cash flow tracking
• Ensuring all accounting data is properly maintained in Tally and Excel

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance or a similar role
• Good knowledge of Excel and Tally
• Comfortable following up with clients and vendors for payments
• Someone who is organised, detail-oriented and proactive
• Strong communication skills and good English
• Should be based in Mumbai
• Commerce background is preferred, but not mandatory
• Bonus if you have worked in an agency, startup or with vendor/client payments before
