Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in NAROL, Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring timely and accurate entry of all financial data. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, verifying vendor bills, reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with GST and other statutory compliances. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing basic financial reports, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The Accountant will also help improve accounting processes and maintain organized records to support decision-making and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for spreadsheets and reconciliations.
• Understanding of Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Ability to prepare and review invoices, vouchers, bank reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and management teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in logistics, transport, or a related industry is preferred but not mandatory.
