Role Overview
- As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization.
- Your role will encompass financial reporting, budgeting, and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
- The ideal candidate will have a basic background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic financial decisions.
- Accounting Operations:
- Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
- Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
- Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proven experience (1+ years) as an Accountant or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software(Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic leadership and communication skills.
