Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The role will also involve reconciling bank statements, preparing budgets, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making. Additionally, the Accountant will collaborate with team members to maintain accuracy and transparency in financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and financial analysis
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
  • Expertise in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools)
  • Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and client-facing interactions
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are a plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing or automation industry is an advantage
