Critical Activities of the Job:
- End-to-end Intercompany cycle knowledge, including invoice processing to disbursement, month-end close process of accruals & reconciliations.
- Identify non-standard processes and drive standardization in partnership with the Transformation & Operations team.
- Manage IC data analytics across global IC processes.
- Manage data insights related to IC practices, reporting, and maintain one standard approach.
- Partner to enable transformation opportunities through data.
- Build a one-stop-shop for IC data warehouse & reporting functionality for global operations.
- Enable visibility of non-compliances to drive compliance and support decision-making.
- Review and refine key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Measure performance using reports against defined metrics and drive decisions and results.
- Exposure to controls compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), process re-engineering, and automation.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including Controllership and Operations teams.
- Reduce exceptions through root cause analysis and partner in implementing solutions.
Competencies:
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Required Experiences:
- 5+ years of overall finance experience.
- Must have worked in the finance domain for at least 5+ years.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Critical Knowledge and Skills:
- Hands-on experience with SAP GL, AR, & AP, and data analytics tools.
- Preferable working experience with consolidation platforms like Hyperion Reporting systems.
- Good knowledge of Intercompany billing concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or other GAAPs.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of R2R (Record to Report) concepts, processes, best practices, value addition process initiatives, and banking domain expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferable Experiences:
- Exposure to full close processes for a multi-national group.
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative and partner to devise creative solutions.
- Having audit experience is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility to work shifts and exposure to global customers.
